Jana Vajra Foundation is a faith-based non-profit Buddhist organisation that aimed to propagate and preserve the authentic Vajrayana teachings.

Specific Visions & Missions:

  • Propagates the precious teachings of the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, particularly in North America, by bringing qualified Dharma teachers to North America to teach.

  • Assists students of the Drukpa Kagyu teachings by providing Dharma teachings and access to practices and learning materials appropriate to the needs of these students to make progress on the path of Dharma.

  • Provides spiritual support and guidance to Dechen Choekhor Mahavihara through organising various teaching programs of Choegon Rinpoche to its tulkus, monks, nuns, as well as other monasteries affiliated with the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

General Visions & Missions:

  • Promotes a peace-loving, harmonious and caring society by the application of the Buddhist principles; and encourages the naturalistic understanding, positive social engagement, and ongoing mental development.

  • Foster consistent and accurate understanding of Tibetan Buddhist teachings and practices.
